Shomali graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa in 2004 and from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg in 2008. / Borloo, after his studies at LUCA school of arts, Brussels, (1999) he developed a trans-disciplinarian œuvre that included collage, research, drawing, installation, and performance. In 2011 he started working on colonialism. focus on figurative painting. Contemporary themes besides colonialism in his work are politics, horror, war, urbanity.
